Program Curriculum
Within the Program Learning Outcomes (general criteria) of our department`s undergraduate program; there are also Program-Specific Program Learning Outcomes (in other words, program-specific criteria) that will provide students with knowledge, skills or competence through courses that are specific to our department`s undergraduate program, distinguish our undergraduate program from other undergraduate programs and reflect the characteristic features of our undergraduate program. According to STAR, some criteria within the general criteria of a program can be given as program-specific criteria. Naturally, our curriculum includes both our Program Learning Outcomes and Program-Specific Learning Outcomes. According to STAR, the entire curriculum must meet both general criteria and program-specific criteria.
Information on Basic Field Courses of the Undergraduate Program:
Among the compulsory courses of our department`s undergraduate program final curriculum (7+1 Main Curriculum of Vocational Education in Business Administration) there are 57 ECTS basic field courses (11 courses). 41 ECTS (7 courses) of these are first-year compulsory courses, 9 ECTS (2 courses) are second-year compulsory courses and 7 ECTS (2 courses) are fourth-year compulsory courses. Among the elective courses of our department`s undergraduate program there are 120 ECTS basic field courses (22 courses).
Information on Specialization Field Courses of the Undergraduate Program:
Among the compulsory courses of our department`s undergraduate program final curriculum (7+1 Main Curriculum of Vocational Education in Business Administration) there are 109 ECTS specialized field courses (18 courses). Of these, 19 ECTS (4 courses) are second-year compulsory courses, 48 ECTS (10 courses) are third-year compulsory courses, and 42 ECTS (4 courses) are fourth-year compulsory courses (Despite the low number of courses due to the 30 ECTS course in the fourth year, the Vocational Education in Business course, the total ECTS value is high). Among the elective courses of our department`s undergraduate program, there are 96 ECTS specialized field courses (17 courses).
Information Regarding Undergraduate Program Competency Supplementary Courses:
A total of 14 ECTS competency supplementary courses (7 courses) are among the compulsory courses of our department`s undergraduate program final curriculum (7+1 Main Curriculum of Vocational Education in Business). All of these are first-year courses. Among the elective courses of our department`s undergraduate program, there are 5 ECTS (1) competency supplementary courses. In addition, all courses in our university`s common elective course pool are considered as competency supplementary courses.
