INFORMATION ON COURSE REGISTRATION FOR MASTER'S STUDENTS FOR THE 2026-2027 FALL SEMESTER
Dear students, first of all, we congratulate you on the new semester and wish you a healthy and successful term.
Pursuant to the ÇANKIRI KARATEKİN UNIVERSITY GRADUATE EDUCATION AND TRAINING REGULATIONS:
- Students are responsible for completing registration renewal and course registration procedures.
- The maximum duration of a master's program is 6 semesters.
- Students who cannot proceed to the thesis stage by the end of 4 semesters, or who fail their thesis work or do not take the thesis defense within the maximum period, will be dismissed from the higher education institution.
- TO PROCEED TO THE THESIS STAGE (after a minimum of 2 and a maximum of 4 semesters):
Students must successfully complete the compulsory courses listed below, AT LEAST 4 ELECTIVE COURSES in addition to these compulsory courses, and a total of 60 ECTS credits.
BAF-503 Bankacılık- Teori, Uygulama ve Yönetim (It is a fall semester course.)
BAF-504 İleri Finansal Yönetim (It is a fall semester course.)
BAF-501 Bilimsel Araştırma ve Yayın Etiği (It is a spring semester course.)
BAF-500 Seminer
BAF700 Uzmanlık Alan Dersi (Each course will be taken during the course registration period.)
Accordingly, you must register for your courses and obtain your advisor's approval within the period specified in the academic calendar (7-11 September 2026). PLEASE DO NOT LEAVE YOUR COURSE REGISTRATION UNTIL THE LAST DAY!
Course registration is completed through the Student Information System (UBYS) (https://ubys.karatekin.edu.tr/).
When logging in to UBYS:
USERNAME: Your institutional email address with the “@ogrenci.karatekin.edu.tr” domain assigned to you. (For example, if your Student Number is 241203018, your username is 241203018@ogrenci.karatekin.edu.tr.)
PASSWORD: The password for your institutional email address with the “@ogrenci.karatekin.edu.tr” domain.
NOTE: If you have forgotten your password, you can obtain a new one by visiting https://id.karatekin.edu.tr/account-recovery/password-reset.
Finally, we would like to set out below the points you should consider during course registration.

INFORMATION FOR STUDENTS GRANTED ONE ADDITIONAL SEMESTER TO OBTAIN A NON-THESIS MASTER'S DEGREE:
You must take the courses coded “BAF999” and “BAF700” from your thesis advisor (that is, FROM THE SECTION OPENED BY YOUR THESIS ADVISOR).
